About Me:

I was born and raised in Arlington, Washington, and shortly lived and learned in Pullman, Washington. I then took an online photography course that encouraged me to expand my creative knowledge. This gave me all the inspiration I needed to keep going! Currently, I am working to earn my Bachelor's Degree in marketing at Western Governors University, using my knowledge to build a business and grow my creative passion! I have a deep desire to see new places and meet new people, but I am also the most extroverted introvert you will ever meet!

How it Started:

It all started when I received my first Nikon DSLR camera as a Christmas present. Ever since then, I have used it for personal passion projects. Growing up, my little brother was my built-in practice model. With all the mountain drives and the views to see, spontaneous beach trips, family vacations, and right where we grew up playing in our front yard. It was easy to fall in love with freezing a good moment in time. My first paid gig came when I was sixteen. I photographed my dad’s youth football team. Years went by with my own passion projects. It wasn’t until later that I realized how passionate I truly was about photography. My dad’s football team was the start of that journey. But it all got put into motion in Pullman, Washington. My second year in college! I realized I wanted to take photography more seriously, so I took a photo101 class and fell in love all over again. Before, I was self-taught and focused on what “looked good,” but my passion only grew as I learned more about the depth of what my camera could do and where my skills could go. So, I decided to put myself out there. I took pictures for a fraternity at WSU, which later expanded to capturing moments at Pullman’s most famous town bar, “The Coug.” My passion for photography only grew, and I became more curious about marketing. Later, I started taking senior photos on campus at WSU and in my hometown. Then on, it turned into capturing ALL the moments and varieties of portraits. I truly wanted to try it all and have no niche. I considered it “my portfolio-building era.” All I knew was that I wanted to live life to its fullest. I wanted to capture every big and small moment. I wanted to celebrate other people's wins and bring their own unique beauty to life. Photography was my perfect way to do that.
